Check my medical bill

Confusing bill, or a scary-looking Explanation of Benefits? Many people pay medical bills they don't actually owe. Paste yours below and we'll tell you, in plain English, what it's really saying, anything worth questioning, and what to do next.

Your bill is read to check it, then forgotten, nothing is stored. You can black out account numbers first. This is plain-language help, not a billing or legal determination.

An EOB is not a bill

One of the most common mix-ups: an Explanation of Benefits usually says right on it "This is not a bill." The line that matters is your patient responsibility, and a provider generally shouldn't charge you more than that. MediNav reads your document, points out where a charge looks off (billed before insurance, a duplicate, balance billing, a preventive service that should be $0), and gives you the exact questions to ask.

A note on privacy: your bill is read to check it and then forgotten. We don't store it. You can black out account or ID numbers before pasting.
